Een diskwalificatie (DQ) kan als straf worden opgelegd als de KNAF Sportcommissarissen en / of de Wedstrijdleider dat beslissen.
Deze situatie kan zich voordoen in een van de twee Kwalificatieheats of in een Finale, bijvoorbeeld als bij de technische controle een non-conformiteit wordt geconstateerd. De rijder wordt dan gediskwalificeerd voor die betreffende Kwalificatieheat of Finale. Dat is dit seizoen in de eerste twee races in totaal vijf keer voorgekomen.
In het betreffende artikel staat dat dit resultaat in het Eindklassement niet als schrapresultaat mag dienen.
Als dit in een Finale plaatsvindt, is het duidelijk. Het is een enkel, op zich staand resultaat, dat niet als schrapresultaat kan dienen voor het Eindklassement.
Als dit echter gebeurt in een van de twee Kwalificatieheats, is het niet zo duidelijk.
Een wedstrijd bestaat uit twee Kwalificatieheats en een Finale, waarbij de resultaten van de Kwalificaties opgeteld de startplaatsen voor de Finale bepalen.
Het eerste resultaat, na de twee Kwalificatieheats, is tevens het eerste resultaat meetellend voor het Eindklassement.
Een DQ in één van de twee kwalificatieheats resulteert nu in een DQ voor het resultaat van de twee Kwalificatieheats opgeteld.
Dit resultaat is zoals vermeld het eerste van de twee dagresultaten meetellend voor het Eindklassement. Nu mag dit "nul-resultaat" niet worden aangewend als schrapresultaat in het Eindklassement.
Wij - en een groot deel van de teams en deelnemers die we over deze regel hebben gesproken - vinden de regel niet correct, het voelt niet juist.
Daarom zijn we voornemens om deze regel via het hieronder vermelde Bulletin te veranderen in een naar onze mening betere regel, die eerlijk is en de inhoud volledig dekt: "voor betreffende rijder wordt voor die Kwalificatieheat het puntenaantal bepaald op het aantal rijders in die klasse + 5".
De nieuwe regel geldt voor het hele kampioenschap. De resultaten van de twee eerste wedstrijden worden met terugwerkende kracht aangepast.
We zien graag dat u als rijders, deelnemers aan seizoen 2020, het unaniem met deze reglementswijziging eens bent. Het kan u tenslotte ook overkomen.

Wijziging/aanvulling op het Sportief Reglement, goedgekeurd door KNAF onder licentienummer 0107.20.095, 5 maart 2020.Na overleg met de KNAF willen wij u informeren over de volgende aanvulling op artikel 12.5.B Puntentelling, tussenklassementen en finales.
Indien zich na een van de twee kwalificatieheats een situatie voordoet als genoemd in artikel 30.7 onder 9 of artikel 30.8 onder 2, gelet op het vermelde onder 8, en de straf terugplaatsing naar de laatste plaats in de Kwalificatieheat dan wel Diskwalificatie voor die betreffende Kwalificatieheat wordt uitgesproken, dan wordt voor betreffende rijder voor die Kwalificatieheat het puntenaantal bepaald op het aantal rijders in die klasse + 5.
De wedstrijdresultaten van en de tussenstanden na de wedstrijden 1 Mariembourg en 2 Mariembourg worden overeenkomstig herzien en gepubliceerd.

We would like to inform you about the following.
After consultation with the Dutch ASN KNAF, we intend to supplement / amend the Sporting Regulations of the IAME SERIES NETHERLANDS-NK IAME on the disqualification part as stated in article 12.5.B.
Explanation
A disqualification (DQ) can be imposed as a penalty, if the KNAF Stewards and / or the Contest Leader so decide.
This situation can occur in one of the two Qualification Heats or in a Final, for example if a non-conformity is found during the technical check. The driver will then be disqualified from that particular Qualification Heat or Final.
This has occurred a total of five times in the first two races this season.
The article in question states that this result may not serve as a drop-result in the Final Classification.
If this takes place in a Final, it is clear. It is a single, stand-alone result, which cannot serve as a drop result for the Final Classification.
However, if this happens in either of the two Qualifying Heats, it's not that clear.
An event consists of two Qualification Heats and a Final. The combined results of the Qualifications Heats determine the starting places for the Final..
The first result, after the two Qualification Heats, is also the first result counting for the Final Classification.
A DQ in one of the two Qualification Heats now results in a DQ for the result of the two Qualification Heats added together.
As mentioned, this result is the first of the two dayresults counting for the Final Classification. Now this "zero result" may not be used as a drop-result in the Final Classification.
We - and a large part of the teams and participants we've talked to about this rule - don't think the current rule is correct, it doesn't feel right.
That is why we intend to change this rule through the Bulletin mentioned below into what we believe is a better rule and which is fair and fully covers the content:" for that Qualification Heat, the number of points for the driver concerned, will be determined on the number of drivers in that class + 5 ".
The new rule applies to the entire championship. The results of the first two events will be adjusted retroactively.
We would like to see the participating drivers unanimously agree with this change in regulation. After all, it can also happen to you.

Amendment / addition to the Sporting Regulations, approved by KNAF under license number 0107.20.095, March 5, 2020.After consultation with the KNAF, we would like to inform you about the following addition to article 12.5.B Scores, intermediate rankings and finals.
